| Romans 1:32 | Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. |
| Romans 5:12 | Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned-- |
| Romans 5:13 | for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. |
| Romans 5:14 | Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. |
| Romans 5:15 | But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. |
| Romans 5:16 | And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. |
| Romans 5:17 | For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. |
| Romans 5:18 | Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. |
| Romans 5:19 | For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. |
| Romans 5:20 | Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, |

| Romans 6:23 | For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
| Romans 7:10 | The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me. |
| Romans 7:11 | For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. |
| Romans 7:12 | So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. |
| Romans 7:13 | Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure. |
| Romans 8:2 | For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. |
| 1 Corinthians 15:22 | For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. |
| 1 Corinthians 15:56 | The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. |
| Galatians 3:10 | For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, "Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them." |
| Ephesians 2:1 | And you were dead in the trespasses and sins |
| Ephesians 2:2 | in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience-- |
| Ephesians 2:3 | among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. |
| Ephesians 2:4 | But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, |
| Ephesians 2:5 | even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- |
| Ephesians 2:6 | and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, |
| Ephesians 5:14 | for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." |
| Colossians 2:13 | And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, |
| 1 Timothy 5:6 | but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives. |
| James 1:15 | Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. |
| 1 John 5:16 | If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life--to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that. |
| Revelation 2:11 | He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.' |
| Revelation 20:6 | Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. |
| Revelation 20:14 | Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. |
| Revelation 21:8 | But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." |

| 1 Corinthians 11:10 | That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. |
| 1 Corinthians 11:11 | Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man nor man of woman; |
| 1 Corinthians 11:12 | for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God. |
| 1 Timothy 2:11 | Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. |
| 1 Timothy 2:12 | I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. |
| 1 Timothy 2:13 | For Adam was formed first, then Eve; |
| 1 Peter 3:7 | Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. |

| Matthew 19:4 | He answered, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, |
| Matthew 19:5 | and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? |
