1 Chronicles 9:26 for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted to be over the chambers and the treasures of the house of God.
1 Chronicles 9:27 And they lodged around the house of God, for on them lay the duty of watching, and they had charge of opening it every morning.

1 Chronicles 9:29 Others of them were appointed over the furniture and over all the holy utensils, also over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the incense, and the spices.
1 Chronicles 9:30 Others, of the sons of the priests, prepared the mixing of the spices,
1 Chronicles 9:31 and Mattithiah, one of the Levites, the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with making the flat cakes.
1 Chronicles 9:32 Also some of their kinsmen of the Kohathites had charge of the showbread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
1 Chronicles 9:33 Now these, the singers, the heads of fathers' houses of the Levites, were in the chambers of the temple free from other service, for they were on duty day and night.

the ministers
1 Corinthians 9:13 Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings?

Job 24:7 They lie all night naked, without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.
Job 24:8 They are wet with the rain of the mountains and cling to the rock for lack of shelter.

Job 24:10 They go about naked, without clothing; hungry, they carry the sheaves;
Job 24:11 among the olive rows of the wicked they make oil; they tread the winepresses, but suffer thirst.
Job 24:12 From out of the city the dying groan, and the soul of the wounded cries for help; yet God charges no one with wrong.
Micah 2:1 Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand.
Micah 2:2 They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them away; they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance.
Micah 2:9 The women of my people you drive out from their delightful houses; from their young children you take away my splendor forever.

Nehemiah 5:1 Now there arose a great outcry of the people and of their wives against their Jewish brothers.
Nehemiah 5:2 For there were those who said, "With our sons and our daughters, we are many. So let us get grain, that we may eat and keep alive."
Nehemiah 5:3 There were also those who said, "We are mortgaging our fields, our vineyards, and our houses to get grain because of the famine."
Nehemiah 5:4 And there were those who said, "We have borrowed money for the king's tax on our fields and our vineyards.
Nehemiah 5:5 Now our flesh is as the flesh of our brothers, our children are as their children. Yet we are forcing our sons and our daughters to be slaves, and some of our daughters have already been enslaved, but it is not in our power to help it, for other men have our fields and our vineyards."
Nehemiah 5:6 I was very angry when I heard their outcry and these words.
Nehemiah 5:7 I took counsel with myself, and I brought charges against the nobles and the officials. I said to them, "You are exacting interest, each from his brother." And I held a great assembly against them
Nehemiah 5:8 and said to them, "We, as far as we are able, have bought back our Jewish brothers who have been sold to the nations, but you even sell your brothers that they may be sold to us!" They were silent and could not find a word to say.
Nehemiah 5:9 So I said, "The thing that you are doing is not good. Ought you not to walk in the fear of our God to prevent the taunts of the nations our enemies?
Nehemiah 5:10 Moreover, I and my brothers and my servants are lending them money and grain. Let us abandon this exacting of interest.
Nehemiah 5:11 Return to them this very day their fields, their vineyards, their olive orchards, and their houses, and the percentage of money, grain, wine, and oil that you have been exacting from them."
Nehemiah 5:12 Then they said, "We will restore these and require nothing from them. We will do as you say." And I called the priests and made them swear to do as they had promised.
Nehemiah 5:13 I also shook out the fold of my garment and said, "So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied." And all the assembly said "Amen" and praised the LORD. And the people did as they had promised.
1 Corinthians 6:7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
1 Corinthians 6:8 But you yourselves wrong and defraud--even your own brothers!

and cleanse
Leviticus 16:16 Thus he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleannesses of the people of Israel and because of their transgressions, all their sins. And so he shall do for the tent of meeting, which dwells with them in the midst of their uncleannesses.
Leviticus 16:33 He shall make atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tent of meeting and for the altar, and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.
Ezekiel 43:22 And on the second day you shall offer a male goat without blemish for a sin offering; and the altar shall be purified, as it was purified with the bull.
Ezekiel 43:26 Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and cleanse it, and so consecrate it.
Hebrews 9:22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 9:23 Thus it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Hebrews 9:24 For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.
Hebrews 9:25 Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own,
Hebrews 10:3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sin every year.
Hebrews 10:4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,
Hebrews 10:20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
Hebrews 10:21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
In the first month
Exodus 12:2 "This month shall be for you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year for you.
Numbers 28:11 "At the beginnings of your months, you shall offer a burnt offering to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
Numbers 28:12 also three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for each bull, and two tenths of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram;
Numbers 28:13 and a tenth of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for every lamb; for a burnt offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
Numbers 28:14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a quarter of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.
Numbers 28:15 Also one male goat for a sin offering to the LORD; it shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
without blemish
Leviticus 22:20 You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you.
Hebrews 7:26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
Hebrews 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
1 Peter 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

Zechariah 14:18 And if the family of Egypt does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which the LORD afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.
Zechariah 14:19 This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.
John 7:2 Now the Jews' Feast of Booths was at hand.
John 7:37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
John 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'"
John 7:39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
