Isaiah 7:9 "'And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all.'"
Isaiah 7:17 The LORD will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah--the king of Assyria."
Hosea 5:9 Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of punishment; among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure.
Hosea 5:11 Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he was determined to go after filth.
Hosea 5:13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to the great king. But he is not able to cure you or heal your wound.
Hosea 6:4 What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes early away.
Hosea 8:11 Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning, they have become to him altars for sinning.
Hosea 12:1 Ephraim feeds on the wind and pursues the east wind all day long; they multiply falsehood and violence; they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried to Egypt.
Hosea 13:1 When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling; he was exalted in Israel, but he incurred guilt through Baal and died.

1 Kings 12:26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, "Now the kingdom will turn back to the house of David.
1 Kings 12:27 If this people go up to offer sacrifices in the temple of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn again to their lord, to Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah."
1 Kings 12:28 So the king took counsel and made two calves of gold. And he said to the people, "You have gone up to Jerusalem long enough. Behold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt."
1 Kings 12:29 And he set one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.
1 Kings 12:30 Then this thing became a sin, for the people went as far as Dan to be before one.
1 Kings 12:31 He also made temples on high places and appointed priests from among all the people, who were not of the Levites.
1 Kings 12:32 And Jeroboam appointed a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month like the feast that was in Judah, and he offered sacrifices on the altar. So he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he made. And he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places that he had made.
1 Kings 12:33 He went up to the altar that he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, in the month that he had devised from his own heart. And he instituted a feast for the people of Israel and went up to the altar to make offerings.
1 Kings 14:14 Moreover, the LORD will raise up for himself a king over Israel who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam today. And henceforth,
1 Kings 14:15 the LORD will strike Israel as a reed is shaken in the water, and root up Israel out of this good land that he gave to their fathers and scatter them beyond the Euphrates, because they have made their Asherim, provoking the LORD to anger.
1 Kings 14:16 And he will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he sinned and made Israel to sin."
Ezekiel 23:5 "Oholah played the whore while she was mine, and she lusted after her lovers the Assyrians, warriors
Ezekiel 23:6 clothed in purple, governors and commanders, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.
Ezekiel 23:7 She bestowed her whoring upon them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them, and she defiled herself with all the idols of everyone after whom she lusted.
Ezekiel 23:8 She did not give up her whoring that she had begun in Egypt; for in her youth men had lain with her and handled her virgin bosom and poured out their whoring lust upon her.
Ezekiel 23:9 Therefore I delivered her into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the Assyrians, after whom she lusted.
Ezekiel 23:10 These uncovered her nakedness; they seized her sons and her daughters; and as for her, they killed her with the sword; and she became a byword among women, when judgment had been executed on her.
Ezekiel 23:11 "Her sister Oholibah saw this, and she became more corrupt than her sister in her lust and in her whoring, which was worse than that of her sister.
Ezekiel 23:12 She lusted after the Assyrians, governors and commanders, warriors clothed in full armor, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.
Ezekiel 23:13 And I saw that she was defiled; they both took the same way.
Ezekiel 23:14 But she carried her whoring further. She saw men portrayed on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed in vermilion,
Ezekiel 23:15 wearing belts on their waists, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them having the appearance of officers, a likeness of Babylonians whose native land was Chaldea.
Ezekiel 23:16 When she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.
Ezekiel 23:17 And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoring lust. And after she was defiled by them, she turned from them in disgust.
Ezekiel 23:18 When she carried on her whoring so openly and flaunted her nakedness, I turned in disgust from her, as I had turned in disgust from her sister.
Ezekiel 23:19 Yet she increased her whoring, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the whore in the land of Egypt
Ezekiel 23:20 and lusted after her paramours there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose issue was like that of horses.
Ezekiel 23:21 Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your bosom and pressed your young breasts."
Hosea 4:17 Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone.
Hosea 4:18 When their drink is gone, they give themselves to whoring; their rulers dearly love shame.

Daniel 9:6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
Daniel 9:7 To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those who are near and those who are far away, in all the lands to which you have driven them, because of the treachery that they have committed against you.
Daniel 9:8 To us, O Lord, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you.
